Carameen is a versatile band and can adapt to most genres of music. We have been around the music scene for many a year. Some of us started in the very early 70's(say no more). The experience gathered through those years though has been worth it. With a few recordings under our belts we regard ourselves as able musicians, able to tackle any event. Past experiences with some of us include working with the like of the Dubliners, Bagatelle, Wolftones - so no more name dropping! Carameen

Carameen are a four piece "Live Music" band formed in 2004 we have played many venues around Kildare, Dublin and further afield, we play covers from the 60's 70's 80's etc to present day.

Mick Lothian (drums/vocals) From Edinburgh and formerly with Spooky (Edin), Southwind (Peebles), Jade Duo (Edin),and Played with the Urban Cowboys (Ireland) for 4 years before putting Carameen together in 2004.

Jacques Pothin (lead guitar/vocals) From the Seychells, also a former member of the Urban Cowboys, other bands Jakko has been involved with are, Kay twins (Dublin), The Scatter Band (Kildare), 3JF (Kildare) and in the Seychells, Clan, Buchaneers and Still waters, Yeah Jakko has been around.

Mick McGinley (Rythm Guitar/Lead vocals)From Derry, former member of Solstice and Ackle, Mick is known as "the doc" amongs friends, ask him why he will tell you.
